Introduction to Apet: eValuation Software
Apet โ the All Purpose Evaluation Tool โ is an advanced yet easy to use business application specifically designed to manage all types of tender evaluations (including large and complex projects).
The development of Apet was driven by the need to improve the efficiency of the tender evaluation process and, at the same time, lift the level of transparency and accountability. The development commenced in 1990 within a government environment, and today Apet is a very powerful tool used by government and the private sector.
Apet reduces the costs of evaluations by making it easier to clearly identify and rank the evaluation criteria, manage the assessment of tenders and produce final reports. A recommendation of preferred tenderer(s) can then be made with confidence. Apet produces a wide range of reports and graphs, covering tender compliance, costs, risks and project management.
Apet is simple to use: data entry for evaluators is contained on one screen to minimise training needs (even if the evaluators are off-site); project managers have a graphical user interface to facilitate efficient navigation; and if you are using the Apet electronic tender module, tenderers will find it straight forward to use and so will their sub-contractors.
